Mier Liu is an Asian American filmmaker and author, ​celebrated for her versatile talents in acting, writing, ​and directing. Born in Taiwan, Mier is fluent in both ​English and Chinese, allowing her to engage and ​captivate a diverse range of audiences.


Her novel, "Am I Famous Yet? 我會紅!勇闖好萊塢", is ​a bestseller in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. Mier ​has appeared in notable films such as Eddie Murphy's ​"Candy Cane Lane" and "Takeout Girl," which won ​Best Picture at the American Black Film Festival in ​2020. She also wrote and produced the horror film ​"Want to Hear a Story," currently in post-production.


Mier Liu is set to make her directorial debut with the ​feature film "The Unseen Footage," a horror film ​currently in pre-production. In 2021, she was honored ​as one of the first five diverse female filmmakers ​selected by the Starlight Culture Entertainment ​Diversity Fund.
